The jam will return elsewhere in April, so be on the lookout for notice of our new location.

And, Dahlak is looking to move into new space close by, as well.

But… in the meantime, please join Tom, Delores, and the rest of our terrific Fourth Sunday house band for our farewell to Dahlak at 1771 U Street NW.  6:30-9:30pm.  No cover!

Dahlak is moving out!

DahlakSignOur one and only original home for DC Jazz Jam — Dahlak Eritrean Restaurant and Bar — is moving!  The building is being bought out, so both Dahlak and the jam session will need to move.  Dahlak’s last day will be Tuesday, March 24th.  The last jam at Dahlak will be Sunday, March 22nd.

We wish owner Dani and the rest of the Dahlak team good luck in finding a new location soon.  Please be on the lookout for notice from DC Jazz Jam about a new location beginning in April 2015.

In the meantime, please come to Dahlak any time for great, home-made Eritrean food and drinks.  And please join us for our final jam at Dahlak on the 22nd (6:30-9:30pm, as usual)!
