Our month of #SaxualHealing to kick off 2018 continues this Sunday with one of the hardest working men in the DC/Baltimore jazz scene as Lionel Lyles returns as our Monthly Master Jazz Artist on sax!
Among other accolades, Lionel has won “Best Performing Artist” the CityPaper readers’ poll, and also been named “Best New Jazz Musician” and “Best Tenor Sax” by the CityPaper arts desk. Lionel can also be seen at almost every Sunday jam anyway, so it’s fun to give him the reins and let him run the show.
