Johnson Jr. returns to lead the jam, closing out our month-long series of male vocalists in tribute to the late, great Al Jarreau, who passed away one year ago this month. Among other accolades, George has been named “Best Vocalist” by the Washington CityPaper’s annual “Jazzies.”
