Please come out to the DC Jazz Jam this Sunday as steel pan player Josanne Francis leads the jam for the first time to continue our month-long series of #InstrumentalLadiesofJazz. Josanne is currently an artist-in-residence at the Strathmore, among other achievements.
Fun fact: Josanne and drummer Kelton Norris, who has also been a special guest at the jam, are married! It’s our third power jazz couple where each have hosted the jam — including Jessica Boykin-Settles/Brian Settles, and also Tom Williams/Delores King Williams.
