After kicking it off with Herb Scott and Elijah Balbed, DC Jazz Jam’s Fall of #SaxualTension keeps building this Sunday with one of the hardest working men in the DC/Baltimore jazz scene as Lionel Lyles returns as our Monthly Master Jazz Artist on sax!
Among other accolades, Lionel has won “Best Performing Artist” the CityPaper readers’ poll, and also been named “Best New Jazz Musician” and “Best Tenor Sax” by the CityPaper arts desk.
