This is just a quick note on THREE THINGS:

  • First, there will be NO JAM this Sunday (5/5/24) — but you can still come out to Haydee’s to celebrate Cinco de Mayo!
  • Second, save the dates for our May jazz jam sessions:
    • 5/12/24: Mother’s Day Serenade with Marsha Baird Burris (vocals)
    • 5/19/24: Latin Jazz Jam featuring Kevin Lambert (conga) and friends
    • 5/26/24: No jam (Memorial Weekend)
  • Third, we really need to make sure to fill up Haydee’s on Sundays. Please share with Will (dcjazzjam@gmail.com) any contacts you have with alumni groups or other social groups who would like an evening out at the jam session. We can reserve tables upstairs!

This is also a Spring Jazz Night Out for DC-area Harvard Law School alums. Come join other alums upstairs at Haydee’s!

Please join us Sunday 4/21/24 as special guest bari sax player (and University of Maryland jazz faculty member) Leigh Pilzer returns to the jam to lead a house band rhythm section made up entirely of this year’s jazz Artists-in-Residence.

Leigh will be joined by a special Third Sunday house band of Alfred Yun (keys), Parker Speirs (guitar), Zoe Jorgenson (bass) and Marty Risemberg (drums).
