(1) Special Outdoor “Art All Night” Jazz Quartet & Jam Session This Friday (9/27/24)!: DC Jazz Jam is excited to be part of Mount Pleasant “Art All Night” this year, right across the street from Haydee’s! Join us at 3103 Mount Pleasant Street (the old Addis Paris outdoor cafe space) from 6pm-10pm. The quartet will play from 6-7pm, and again from 8-9pm, and we will open it up for a jazz jam session between 7-8pm and again from 9-10pm. Featuring Jeff Antoniuk (sax), Darius Scott (keys), Percy White (bass), and Will Stephens (drums). Bring your horns!

(2) Washington CityPaper features DC Jazz Jam: DC’s longtime jazz writer Mike West put together a terrific article (link here) featuring DC Jazz Jam @ Haydee’s as part of Mount Pleasant’s growing and thriving jazz scene. The article also highlights Tibyron Quinn’s Tuesday night jam session at Marx Cafe, as well as the DC Jazz Collective’s regular Marx gigs.
