*****DC Jazz Jam: Herding “Cats” Since 2009!****

This fall, DC Jazz Jam is celebrating the 100th birthday of the late Mel Torme, with a series of “crooners.” We are also continuing our “Back to School” series each month.

This week (Sunday, Sept. 21st) we are *combining* both series (!!!) to with special guest vocalist/pianist Reggie Bowens (Howard vocal jazz instructor) — along with a terrific house band of Howard jazz faculty/students/alums in Eliot Seppa (bass), Ellis Hollingsworth (sax), and Sam Prather (drums).

[Don’t worry guitar players — we always have a guitar amp, and a to plug into.]

So come sit in with the band and throw your support to a great local joint! 6:30-9:00pm @ Haydee’s (3102 Mount Pleasant Street NW). No cover!
