This is just a quick note on THREE THINGS:

  • First, there will be NO JAM this Sunday (11/26/23) because of Thanksgiving weekend. Happy Thanksgiving to all!
  • Second, we have ONLY TWO more jams in 2023, so save the dates:
    • 12/3/23:  Final Wes Montgomery tribute with special guest Steve Herberman on guitar (+ Chris Barrick, Mikel Combs, Will Stephens)
    • 12/17/23: Tito Puente tribute feat. Mark Merella and Felix Contreras on latin percussion (+ Sammy Munguia, Adam Fluger, Grant Le, Julian Berkowitz)
  • Third, we really need to make sure to fill up Haydee’s on Sundays. Please share with Will (dcjazzjam@gmail.com) any contacts you have with alumni groups or other social groups who would like an evening out at the jam session. We can reserve tables upstairs!
