Starting in 2012, DC Jazz Jam has invited special “Monthly Master” jazz artists to join the house band every few weeks.  We were joined over the course of the year by 12 outstanding jazz musicians.  With a renewed grant from the DC Arts & Humanities Commission, DC Jazz Jam can now renew the Monthly Master series for Fiscal Year 2013!

We are pleased to have the following artists join the jam to begin this fiscal year:

November 11th — Seth Kibel (clarinet/sax/flute)
November 25th — Butch Warren (bass)
December 2nd — Kenny Rittenhouse (trumpet)
December 16th — Christie Dashiell (voice)
January 13, 2013 — National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) musicians
January 27, 2013 — Brad Linde (sax)

Please save the date for these special jam sessions!  And stay tuned for additional Master sessions as the year progresses.  We plan to have over 25 master jazz artists join us this year!
