Save the Date!  On March 17, 2013 the DC Jazz Jam will host a “Kickoff Jam” for the 2013 Washington Women in Jazz Festival (www.washingtonwomeninjazz.com, Twitter: @WWJazzFest).  The WWJF was named the Best New Jazz Showcase by the Washington City Paper in 2012.  Our special guest will be vocalist Rochelle Rice, formerly of Howard University’s Afro Blue vocal ensemble and currently a young-artist-to-watch in DC.  6:30-9:30pm @ Dahlak (1771 U Street NW).
