DC Jazz Jam kicks off its own “new year” (i.e., Fiscal New Year) with special guest Elijah Balbed joining the band as our Monthly Master jazz artist.  Elijah has been a jazz artist-in-residence at the Strathmore, and was named Best Tenor Sax by the CityPaper’s annual “Jazzies.”  Come sit in with Elijah and the rest of our terrific First Sunday house band!
